or, you may elect to pay in cash at the farm once we've confirmed with you

We offer dining experiences on our own site only, as the Viator markup would not allow for food costs without increasing the price to you.

Q. Isn't this expensive for Jerk Chicken?

A. Yes, it is! We call it an extension of your tour with a farm-to-table meal included, because you immerse yourself longer in the tropics, enjoying the view overlooking the lush greenery, getting to know the spot and breathe it in, while we prepare a special farm chef's table experience for you. Jerk Chicken at the side of the road is cheaper - we recommend Roots! But we hope you try both :-)

As a set meal, prepaid, and all inclusive, you don't have to worry about the choices that day or any bill at the end.

We aim to provide a stellar value experience you'll savour in memories of your Jamaican trip while you share in the appreciation of plants & culture.

Q. How much is the farm tour plus dining altogether?

A. The entire experience is usd$135 per person for a 5-hour excursion, with farm tour, fruit tasting, smoothie, coconut, full farm-to-table meal, and pickup & return transportation. Approx

Jamaican Roots Tropical Farm Tour - Taste & Explore (2.5 hr)

Visit the farm early morning or late afternoon - choose your best time!

Tours are $72 usd or 11,500 jmd per person, including:

Pickup and drop off from anywhere in the Negril area
Tour of the farm – see all the plants, trees, fruits, veggies! Get behind the scenes & find out how your favourite tropicals grow. Smell, taste, hike, relax & enjoy.
Samples from the farm – including leaves, teas, & fruits plucked from the branches – though not all may be ready for harvest, please note :-)

We source a most delicious array from our farm & fellow farmers to offer you the tastes of Jamaica (all included in the tour price!)

🥥 Fresh Jelly Coconut - cut with a machete & served with a papaya straw, just after you first see the farm from the top
🥭 Signature Fruit Plate - showcasing the freshest local produce after your guided tour of the farm, on the veranda overlooking the farm
🥤JUICE (oh sweet fresh juice) - a freshly blended tropical smoothie to accompany your fruit tasting. Once you try the guava-pineapple combo, you'll never look back!

What will you taste on the farm ?

Along with delicacies like pineapple, melon, mango, and papaya, Jamaican apple, sugar cane, banana & plantain are almost always available. We are lucky to have naseberry ripening! We also often have breadfruit roasting or plaintain frying.

While almost every edible tropical plant has been planted & can be seen, not all are ready to eat :-)

Let us know if you have a craving for anything in particular. If we don't have it, we'll check with another farmer and get it for you.
Anything we can do to make your time on the farm special, we will work it out! Champagne? Flowers? Chocolate? We got you!
