Great experience Viator review: Jamaican Roots Tropical Farm Tour - Explore & Chill (2 hr) Amazing experience. Mark is a great person with an amazing story. He was really welcoming, informative and a top level host. Highly recommend and we’ll be back! We did the dinner too and it was worth the extra money, best jerk chicken we’ve had on the trip by far, we left so full.

You will walk away questioning many things about how we cultivate food, how much of Jamaica's fauna and flora is tied to its history, the power of the weather (the hurricane damage is extensive) and how much effort it takes to work the land.

You won't be disappointed with the time spent at the farm. It gives a real sense of why the land of Jamaica was, and still is, prized.

N.B. I recommend booking via Mark's website so you can book the meal or any other additional services he offers such as the pickup. Plus wear sturdy footwear because you'll be walking through land that is rocky, inclined and dense.

Spending the whole morning with Mark at his farm in Negril was one of my favourite experiences on my trip to Jamaica. I am blown away by the amount of work and love Mark has put into his land. His knowledge of the many plants he grows and his sustainable farming practices are incredible! He is also an artist, designer and builder which you can see in his wooden furniture and house that he built. Having delicious fresh fruit, coconut water and smoothie was a bonus! Thank you Mark for sharing all of this with us!

I had a great time exploring this farm. Mark is an exceptionally knowledgeable farmer. It was nice to get away from the busyness of Negril and spend a few hours at this farm. It's a serene and peaceful oasis The fruits from the farm are the best tasting fruit I had in Jamaica. Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip to Jamaica!
